There's a very particular kind of bike nimby that seems weirdly common where they seem to believe that people on bikes do not exist other than when they're on their bikes, and they're particularly obsessed with the idea that bikes should require paid licenses. I saw someone say that they think the literal only tax cyclists pay is gst on their bikes. Apparently according to this person they don't live anywhere or buy groceries or make income or anything. They just buy bikes. People are so damn weird.
