I haven’t played the 2nd but I remember the first feeling like eight separate short stories that just so happened to include party mechanics and level grinding. “I only work alone.” “Join up with this group of 7 random people?” “Okay!”

I’m kind of confused, both games currently support the current platform and were not broken. Is it typical for them to add games to the preservation program like this? I thought it was for games that no longer work on modern systems, or idk preservation. It’s a good thing to be sure, but my reaction is just “what?”.
