@VogueLaGalere@mastodon.online @gumnos@mastodon.bsd.cafe It's directions for removing AI slop. It's not dangerous, it's anti-dangerous. It's good advice, and correct safety behavior. If you've identified a code base (or anything else) as AI generated, then you should delete it immediately. For the simple reason that you don't have the expertise and/or time to verify that it's not wrong or dangerous. If you do have that expertise _AND_ time, and have invested said expertise _AND_ time, it's not AI slop any more.

@VogueLaGalere@mastodon.online You know that part in horror movies where the teens start dabbling in the dark arts, messing with powers they don't comprehend, under the guise of fulfilling their selfish desires…only to end up opening a portal and summoning destructive evil upon our realm? Yeah, I'm largely fine with the a few of those teens getting self-inflicted injuries if they attempt to dabble in the dark arts. 🤷
