Might be cold comfort but I would prefer it takes a decade of crawling towards it rather than lose everything outright because someone made a strategic failure trying to win a red state. Just like Beto did with the guns. Let’s not demolish every chance every time.

You’d rather crawl towards fascism with small concessions from the ruling class to make you feel like you’re winning. Because it’s more comfortable for you, and you aren’t on the chopping block just yet. First they came for the communists and all that… When you sacrifice all of us, we won’t be there to protect you when they come for you!
