If you are on most of the export tariffs it can't be mostly battery export - ie you should be generating as much as you export in solar typically. Some tariffs are just battery like Octopus Flux. The other oddity is that income from microgeneration export is taxed only if you generate over 120% if your usage yearly, but battery only may well be taxed as misc income so in your £1000 allowance only

@Workshopshed@mastodon.scot @etchedpixels@mastodon.social I need to do some sums around that as well, but what worries me is that if I've spent that peak time discharging my battery I need to make sure I've left myself enough to cook my dinner, otherwise I'll just be buying electricity at the higher rate before the overnight rate kicks in.
