For most of my life I could do about 1 year with a pair of shoes with daily use, so each year a new pair of shoes
With all huge price increases nowadays I’m in my third year with this pair, there is just nothing left for that
At first I thought I did something wrong but I’ve come to see that’s it’s probably more the level of unfairness in the current state of the world perhaps
I’m just mad and sad about a lot of things, like many of us I suppose

@stux@mstdn.social I found that with WFH my shoe consumption declined to pretty well zero. I used up slippers rather faster though.
