Unfortunately not the first fatalities at a Great Run event in hot weather. I'm glad that people formed screens to give them dignity (I've also seen too many people take photos/video).
A reminder to slow down when it is hot, and take advantage of screening programs like Cardiac Risk in the Young if you qualify. Also, learn CPR, lots of free courses out there and while you hope you'll never need it, you might save a life.
You don't expect not to come home from a run, I'm thinking of their friends and family at this awful time.
