Yeah, OP's photo is missing that triangle plastic piece in the back corner, making it a fake image. Without that plastic bit, with the window filling up the whole door frame, it cannot possibly roll down. It simply cannot fit into the door frame (OP's image can't I mean).
Edit: Also, OP's image doesn't even have a window frame.

The photo is cropped below the window, you're only seeing the door panel. No part of the window is visible.
