I'll be very blunt about it, all countries with a coast should be openly sharing oceanographic (physical, chemical, and biological) information. Water recognizes no borders, and eventually, others are affected.

Worked on, analyzed, published, in some form or another, open data regarding oceans, for IOLR, Ministry of Environmental Protection, HUJI, TAU/Steinhardt Museum, Haifa U. Seen other works by Technion, Mapi, INPA, GII. The data is there, but very cumbersome to maintain, govern, search and access, because unlike terrestrial, with easily demarcated limits and jurisdictions, water is water.
