There seems to be a worldview that Facebook and X are just part of the universal infrastructure of the internet now. That you need to use them, as a politician, or when you’re asking people to communicate with your radio show, or when you’re advertising your clickbait news articles.
You absolutely do fucking not need to use them.

@Nickiquote@mstdn.social Tbf, in some areas of the world, Facebook effectively *is* the internet. I suspect those people aren't the ones you're addressing.
