I am pretty sure I cracked the code for my #cats to understand time. For the last month, when its 10 mins to feeding time, I put both hands up in front of me and declare '10 minutes'. At 5 minutes, I put one hand up and say '5 minutes'. Then at feeding time I fill their bowls. I've noticed recently they've stopped nagging once i give them the 10 minute warning. They just sit patiently til food time for that blissful 10 minute window.
