I believe lots of things about AI but we could all avoid so much pointless bickering if some OpenAI executive simply went to prison every time ChatGPT abetted a homicide. You only have to do this 2-3 times before people start taking shit really seriously!

These are not crimes of passion by the downtrodden, it's calculated exploitation where everyone involved has more than enough time to carefully consider the ramifications of their actions.
