@f800gecko@mastodon.online I share the sentiment, but I also think it's more complex. There are lots of things that make sense to be single-use, because the resource cost of cleaning them for reuse is comparable to the resource cost of producing them, before you even consider the added resource requirements to make something that can withstand many (or even a single) cycle of cleaning. This is particularly the case for a lot of health care/personal care items. What's important is that these things be sourced from renewable materials and externalities of manufacture be minimized.
