Note for depinning molex mini-fit jr connnectors (the ones used for atx mobo power, PCIe power, the power supply side connections on most modular computer power supplies): As an alternative to buying a depinning tool, people will suggest the "staple trick" using unfolded staples. I find these are a nuisance to insert fully and maybe using two of them leads to a misunderstanding about what actually needs to happen
