So my wonderful friend took her own car back to her home, returned to where I was by train, and drove me an hour to my home in Kyoto, in my car, before returning to her own home by train.
It's not as bad as the time I broke a couple of ribs, but it hurts to stand up, lie down, and sit up.
Lesson learned: Ask for help rather than trying to carry a 55 kg pumpkin alone. 4/4

Rachel last week, shaking her head at news footage of people driving into 50-centimeter-deep water during a flood: "They must be panicking and their judgment is impaired." Rachel yesterday: "Why, yes, I'm sure I can carry this pumpkin that weighs as much as an adult human."
