Apparently it is possible for a person to go half their life seeing various medical professionals, including a physical therapist, without a single one of them ever noticing that the patient has normal balance but cannot stand unsupported with their eyes closed, an observation which takes about fifteen seconds to test and is by itself 90% of the way to a diagnosis for a treatable condition that results in a debilitating complex of consequences

We don't need more money for scans and pharmaceuticals, we just need a physician who can take a god damn patient history!
