PRINCE AND THE REVOLUTION Parade 1986 Canada pressing Was in the mood for some Prince on this beautiful Sunday afternoon. A blind Prince pull produced Parade. A perfect example of a VERY good soundtrack to a REALLY awful movie. This (with the exception of maybe Singles) has to be the gold standard. Acting as the soundtrack to the repugnant film Under The Cherry Moon, this has a bevy of killer tunes on it, particularly the final three tracks. Even if you dislike everything that comes before (why would you?), the run of “Kiss”, “Anotherloverholenyohead”, and “Sometimes It Snows In April” alone make Parade worth owning. The movie though? Find a DVD copy, take a huge dump on it, then catapult it into the hot August sun. If you can prove to me you’ve watched it all, I’ll give you $400.
