What a funny day. Some lows. Some highs. Some punching through the darkness to find the light. Some difficult emotions. Continuing for various reasons. And then..... 6 dogs and some joy. The lovely young gays descended upon us. And then an avalanche of joy. New life from an unexpected source. There is to be a new baby in the family. How absolutely marvellous. I quite like being (Star Trek) The Next Generation. I appear to be entering my grandpa phase. And I do not hate it. There was a lot about my morning I found difficult. But it resolved in a way that was so universally lovely, it's hard not to think about life being a wonderful gift. This makes no sense really. Sorry I've had a gin. The short version is this - I love you. Whatever's going on, there are still glorious bright moments that must be cherished. Life is pretty good, despite it all. X
