@DJGummikuh@mastodon.social They can be and FDM printer is enough for opaque ones. They are however so cheap that it's usually not worth the trouble for machines that are still getting spares. For a rarer old machine printing would be viable option. Or making some temporary ones if the exact shape isn't at hand.

@apzpins@some.apz.fi yeah the main question that drove me here (besides the opacity and looks) was the impact resistance, given that I'm assuming they're gonna see quite a bit of abuse from those balls hitting them over and over again (what's the actuall weight of a pinball anyways? Never had one in my hand)
