Meta wants to be the global town square, but apparently Virginia Woolf and feminism are too dangerous for its ad system. Meanwhile the company keeps asking us to trust its algorithms with billions of people’s speech. If Meta can’t distinguish feminist literature from prohibited content, maybe it shouldn’t be the internet’s self appointed censor.

Nobody needs meta. Just stop using any of their products. I can’t think of the last time I used Facebook or anything related to it, my life is better for it. Just leave them behind.

Regulating Meta which is truly accountable nowhere is like trying to find a good place to store radioactive waste for tens of thousands of years. Everyone outside the US should just ban them.

I see incredibly violent and bigoted content all the time on Meta platforms and always report it. Rarely does anything get taken down. But feminism bad I suppose.

So would promoting a play about how great capitalism is get filtered out I wonder? I’m fortunate to be of the age where I’ve grown out of Facebook so never bothered to setup Instagram. Moving on from WhatsApp is hard though 😡

Shittest thing about Android phones are all those third party apps, which you can’t even remove (looking at especially you, Samsung) Facebook, and so on. Unbelievable amount of bloat ware with almost every manufacturer. I would like to have Samsung, but I just can’t stand its UI and those apps.
