There's also an editor on the website that makes it easy to create Route entries. Simply drag and drop a GPX file to the editor and fill in the fields. The editor either edits your manifest JSON or gives you the JSON data to copy-paste.
Nothing leaves your machine. It's all running in the browser page locally on your machine. It's open source, you can check!

So finding routes to ride is easy, just browse the community repos and find somethign interesting. You can find (most of) the TDF routes, for example already. https://indoorbike.app/community/index.html#repo=juhani-indoor-workouts
