So again.. WHY THE HELL ISN'T THIS JUST STANDARD ON AN ELECTRIC WATER HEATER IF ITS BETTER?!
Like.. wtf? There's already electricity going to my water heater! It would be *trivial* to install at the factory and seal it up never to even need to be opened again, tbh. And it's shorter and therefore less materials, too.
I don't get it.
Now I have a power brick *and* a hard wired wire going into my water heater.
Just... why?
So many appliance and home things are like this - patchwork.

Ok, so I had read into this before (like a month ago) and I swear I saw stuff saying it was a bacteria, but today looking more again (after the fact) and more sources seem to say its purely a chemical reaction. Well... whatever it is the electrified one is supposed to stop the process within 24 hours. 🤞
