Got my contact lenses in the wrong eyes this morning and had to spend ages trying to get them out to swap them over. Left house 5 minutes late and missed the bus. Despite this I'm feeling very chipper this morning. A nice looking lady just leaned out of her car window, waved and shouted 'morning Ben!'. Absolutely no idea who that nice person is but have a great day, random stranger! I've got a very straightforward morning I don't have to think about and then have booked myself to go to an expo for work this afternoon, where I shall wander about chatting to people and trying to pick up as much free merch as possible. Last one I went to had a free bar and I ended up sitting on a sofa in the corner of some industry ombudsman stand with a beverage - they told me I wasn't supposed to be sitting/drinking there, but I told them I was thirsty and my legs were tired so they said fine but don't tell anyone, then I ended up having a fascinating conversation with some industry expert who came over to talk to me. So more of that please. At the very least I'll be out of the office and might get some new pens. Hurrah! I hope you have an ABSOLUTELY MARVELLOUS day. You're a big cat. The world is your oyster.
