Selfishly I want them to succeed and stay in business for my lunch needs. 🤫 But the publicity could mean more competition for the lovely onigiri rice balls with the egg in the middle… 2) Got to meet #ScottWeiner at a neighbor’s hosted meet-the-candidate event. First time we’ve talked, but I run into him everywhere: #SFMUNI trains, my kid’s school, local businesses, city events… IMHO local politicians should be out talking to and working for people *all the time* and not just during an election. Earned my vote over many years, mostly by showing up over and over again. 3) Got to introduce him to our kiddo, who met him a decade ago when he came to her first day of first grade to tell the principal he’d gotten them a grant (for either a garden program or reading assistance).
