I just upgraded every cluster node to ubuntu 26.04. Its a mix of high end servers, old pcs, laptops, and mini-pcs. I installed ubuntu on every box to the point where you could ssh in, and then opened 12 ssh windows in tmux and used keyboard broadcast to set all of them up at once. It gives you a direct view of the relative speed of the systems at normal linux cmd line work. Because it's almost all single threaded, the high MHZ strix halo mini pcs blow everything else away. #homelab
