@ErikJonker@mastodon.social Let's be real, when Europe has been partners in atrocities like we see in Gaza there is no dignity or self-respect to salvage. It's about money and economics, which is fine (US is a sinking ship), but the indignation can be dispensed with I think. EU leaders just need to be honest; they were happy to participate in the neoliberal farce when it benefitted them. Now the Chinese imperial farce benefits them more as the US implodes, so they're going to help out with that now.
