idk if this is normal but having an IC with a programming pin requesting a specific resistor or capacitor is uh, a bit disorienting.

rofl I was still overthinking the usb lavalamp buck + dimmer. The load is an incandescent light bulb. It doesn't need current-control it just needs a set max voltage. i.e. a normal-ass buck regulator. (schematic still wip)
