@ric@mastodon.qweb.co.uk @llamasoft_ox@toot.wales If it happens 'occasionally' is a thing they do, but if it keeps happening too frequently is usually sign 'something is wrong with their hooves'. Could be scold, cold be foot rot, could be the nails need trimming, in any case is a situation that needs to be checked.
