@gedeonm@mastodon.social @bigzaphod@mastodon.social there’s a loud subset of people for whom no price other than free is acceptable, and I don’t think they’re ever going to be “customers” until they see the fallacy in that. I really hope that collectively we start to realize that ideology leads to monopolization and enshittification and start supporting each other. I know times are tough for everyone, but I struggle to understand why, even given that, people gleefully opt for unsustainable and predatory business models instead of supporting people and teams that are charging a fair price for a good product.
