You’ll have to tell all those obsessed with playing the latest AAA slop in mega-ultra at 531649516782 fps in 4k with ray-tracing so they can see the ultrarealistic explosions. I know a few. The other day at work, one coworker just couldn’t understand that I was fine playing a pixel art game on 1080p at 60fps because it looked “ugly as fuck”

You mean at 30 fps frame-genned to 120 fps that still play like 30 but with more visual artifacts. Because that’s what modern hardware gets you and that’s what the next three generations of hardware will get you.

I can’t shed the people trying to convince me to shell out for a switch 2. I play on a 720p TV and have a major eye disability that can’t tell the difference between that and 4k.
