  It's a deeply conservative, religious, capitalist holiday that is forced on all of us. It generates a shit ton of waste. The music is absolutely terrible and drives me crazy.   This is actually a very real issue that is fucking me over hard now. For context, I'm a naturalized trans immigrant who fled the US.
