U.S. pulls only 0.4 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve for the week ending September 11, taking it down to 285 mmb.
This is only a third of last week's 1.2 mmb, which was already not much. The U.S. uses about 20.6 million barrels a day.
We used to pull 10 mmb a week, so the tiny pull last week means we may have hit the functional bottom of the SPR, which is thought to be between 250 - 300 mmb.
