hard question for me: how much compsci/deep programming lore is too much for a talk at an SRE conference? some folks will love it. some folks will be overwhelmed by too many new concepts. the right amount is hard to judge. so far we're including: - turing completeness and the halting problem - event driven architecture software considerations (e.g. what is "good" in an event processing system?) - a little bit of distributed systems challenges - tree data structures - a little bit of domain driven design - programmatic reflection and those are just the concepts i suspect some folks won't know. obviously some will be familiar with all of them, but i care about making my talks accessible to people who don't have a software background or are newer to the industry
