Hi, I'm Steven Kim, I maintain The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Fediverse, a public instance directory.
I’ve published a daily-generated software registry with normalized software IDs, families, observed names, and classification status:
https://thanksstevenkim.github.io/the-hitchhikers-guide-to-the-fediverse/data/software_registry.json
Could this be useful as an optional reference for FediSuite’s instance/account discovery or software detection, especially for newer or less common projects?
It isn’t intended to replace FediSuite’s own adapters. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

@christin@lsbt.me The taxonomy, JSON schema, and usage notes are documented here: https://github.com/thanksstevenkim/the-hitchhikers-guide-to-the-fediverse/blob/main/README.en.md
