Although I'm not usually very engaged with fan communities, I'm really into Ultima VI: The False Prophet, and the Ultima Dragons collectively working out the origin of this piece of in-game artwork (a somewhat racy painting of a zebrataur) from the game's intro is one of my favourite fandom moments. https://ultimacodex.com/2015/10/remember-that-centaur-poster-in-ultima-6s-intro-i-found-the-sketch-it-was-based-on/
