  @akamran@indieweb.social @theautisticcoach@neurodifferent.me Same here. 😓 I've been interacting with the autistic community online for about 2 years now, but I couldn't say that I have enough information to say if most are in burnout or not. For one thing, I don't see it talked about as other things, like trauma, co-occurences (co-morbitities), traits like RSD, etc. I do think that a high percentage of us suffer from some kind of trauma including cPTSD, but I'm still struggling to untangle cPTSD and autistic burnout. Are they related, do they just overlap, do they co-occur, etc. It's tricky. So, maybe? I mean from what I understand, it tends to happen more often with older, late-diagnosed/realized (and probably not diagnosed/realized), less with older but early diagnosed/realized, and even less among younger autistics just because they haven't had the time to be ground down by it yet (although certainly could still be traumatized). So current age and age of dx/rz are going to be big factors in this. All that said, it wouldn't surprise me if most were, at least at the higher age ranges.
