@greenyouthmovement@masto.nu I use wood shavings (or sawdust) to saggar fire my pottery sometimes. I also sometimes use it in garden compost although I learned that a little goes a very long way.

@potterybyosa@mastodon.social This is good to hear. And best of all,using it as compost in the garden,the wood shavings are sources of a good fertiliser to the plants. Meanwhile, we also hope to practise more of these agricultural skills once we have got our permanent place for agriculture. We are always disturbed by land owners every season!
