🌿A food forest is a diverse, self-sustaining ecosystem that grows food by working with nature. At Green Youth Movement, our vision is to establish a food forest once we secure funding for land. It will increase harvests, restore biodiversity, and provide hands-on training in regenerative agriculture for more young people and communities. @environment @foodpluswords_@flipboard.com @BathNature@ecoevo.social #gardening #Diet #nutrition #agriculture #environment #biodiversity #ecosystems #agroecolo...

How many storms did it survive? How many birds found shelter in its branches? How many forests began from its seeds? An old tree is a lifetime of giving. The most important things in life rarely come without intelligence, sweat, sacrifice and sometimes loss of blood. Our work in vulnerable communities is no different. Food security and environmental conservation demand knowledge, hard work and courage.
