(Years ago) When you first could, I didn't know how to upload a photo for my work profile, so I just picked a random picture (of the front of a lorry) and it worked, but then I didn't know how to change it... the lorry was my profile pic for a year...

@AH_99 @Alice I needed a digital photo when setting up my profile for a forum in 2004. I had just moved house (moved country, in fact) and the last picture in my new digital camera was of the electric kettle I had just bought (to show my girlfriend/wife, probably), and... well... ... [looks at profile pic on Mastodon]
