Just putting this out there... a few days ago I needed to do the "monthly" clean up (after three months) so while I was making a backup of our centrally-stored data on the old Linux desktop, I let #Ucheck do its thing on our two Windows laptops, then finished off with a quick Microsoft Store update, CCleaner registry clean and ShutUpWin safety check. Imagine my utter shock, therefore, when I went to edit an ODS spreadsheet yesterday and was confronted with EXCEL instead of #LibreOffic...

@Dennis@beige.party those things are lethal. Hardly ever use ours (too much hassle to use and clean - prefer to just cut stuff normally) and when I do I still manage to nick, score or impale some part of a finger or palm most times. Even more dangerous during cleaning, in my experience. On a practical note - rub vegetable oil onto the white plastic to pull out the stain, then lots of washing liquid, rinse and repeat until clean. Works for orange carrot stain, at least ..

@foone you may find, like I did, that there is an option deep in the menus where you can turn all the image processing off and let it actually just be "a monitor" for that HDMI channel... It took me a couple of years dealing with a quarter-second delay before I found it (no action games during that time). Edit: never mind, I see now you're talking about the TV's own interface
