Eyelet punch set is arriving today, so I'll be getting back to the skirt this evening or tomorrow after errands. I also need to seriously organise my sewing accessories (or at least put them all in the same drawer) because I can't find the tie/lace threading thing I thought I had. Which I might not have. I did order some glacier blue wool to make another one of these skirts. I'm going to do the cut-as-lined (I'm sure it has a different term, anyone know?) where you baste a lining fabric on and just sew it as if it were a double-faced rather than doing a bunch of lining faff. I have some mis-sent poly-whatever blend that isn't a colour or print I'd use, but it would do nicely as a lining for a wool skirt. I also need to hem a pair of trousers I bought because they're 10cm too long. Were they "tall"? Nope. I apparently have little legs.
