on a two or four lane highway, sure. on anything six lanes or larger, there definitely is.

No, there is only one regular lane in each direction. And if you want to pass you take the second land. The third lane is to pass someone who is passing someone. The forth lane is to pass someone who is passing someone who is passing someone. And so further. If there are six lanes, the sixt lane is to pass someone who is passing someone who is passing someone who is passing someone who is passing someone who is passing someone. The speed does not matter.
