@gilesgoat@toot.wales I am always amazed at what people will happily drink at coffee shops. The one across the street from us is always busy but their coffee is absolute garbage. There is one place in town that’s good but they’re very much the outlier. I guess Starbucks is a global success despite their terrible coffee so I shouldn’t be surprised

@sinbad@mastodon.gamedev.place this time different place, the coffee surprisingly is ok but the price is enormous! 2.55 pounds for ONE single espresso 😱 !! At least is drinkable but ... If I think I was able to buy in Italy espresso for 50p and yes that was a reasonable price but fair.
