It’s actually quite simple to caption foreign language in film.

    @Dennis@beige.party it may have a time and place. There can sometimes be an expectation that the audience is not meant to understand the foreign language because the protagonists of the film do not understand it either, and it’s important to the plot. It’s an interesting phenomenon, such as how German jokes in English speaking tv shows need to be manipulated to make sense on German television.
