@Sonofasailor@mastodon.social great job! I had the 8-track of Star Wars when I was a kid. Not the soundtrack, it was an audio recording (abridged) of the film. The deck reversal came just as the Death Star was pulling the Millennium Falcon into the hanger bay.
So you got to hear the Imperial dude say “Clear bay 327, we are opening the magnetic field” twice in a row since they repeated it on the other side. To this day I can’t get that line out of my head. 😅🤓

@gedeonm@mastodon.social Ha! The odd line from Star Wars that sticks in my head is Han saying “Chewy, lock in the auxiliary power.” He says it twice as they’re being pulled in. This occurs exactly one hour into the film, which, hypothetically, may or may not have been the perfect point for a young boy to maybe or maybe not flip over a 120-minute tape in a cassette recorder that may or may not have been in a knapsack the hypothetical young boy had with him. 😎
