Fallen (1998) Crime-Horror is an interesting backwater hybrid genre. This film stars Denzel Washington as a police detective tracking a killer that turns out to be a demon that can hop to nearby bodies. This is how the film opens, so it's not a spoiler. Fallen got lukewarm reviews upon release but has since developed a cult following, which came as good news to me because this is my favorite Denzel film.
