@gedeonm@mastodon.social This is the thing that caused me to slam the brakes on a usb-c upgrade. I'll stick with the inconvenience of keeping a dedicated keyboard lightning cable in my drawer over this key relocation nonsense.

@gedeonm@mastodon.social I'm seeing this complaint everywhere right now. Apple has finally standardized the layouts of MacBook keyboards and external keyboards. I was pretty happy with this change, even though it took me months to get used to it. I type on my external keyboard 95% of the time, but now I can finally use the laptop keyboard too, since the layouts are finally identical. In my opinion, it makes sense for both devices to have the same layout, even if it's the wrong one. (fn should move elsewhere)
