After reading the excellent Spider-Man: Life Story, I picked up Fantastic Four: Life Story which was unfortunately a disappointment. For Spider-Man, growing up from a teenager to adulthood was a much stronger motif and more interesting setting and Fantastic Four felt just like a regular story of the battle against Galactus. Maybe if I had read it before I heard about Spider-Man, I would have enjoyed it more but I can't ignore the differences now. https://notes.hamatti.org/sources/books/fantastic-four-life-story #Marvel #Comics
