@jerome@jasette.facil.services @stephanie@ottawa.place Unfortunately, not really for condos. It would only apply if it’s in the lease for the unit, then you can try the Rental Tribunal. My recourses are lawsuit or sale. The condo board has been very absent this year (and not very trustworthy since I moved in) Luckily, the odour doesn’t enter my unit, but I have to stop breathing for the time that I enter the building to the other side of my door. 😥

    @EdwinG@mstdn.moimeme.ca @jerome@jasette.facil.services @stephanie@ottawa.place not a lawyer, but the odor in the hallway is a solid nuisance and had definitively an impact on the value of your condo. Let me put it this way: if the odor in the hallways makes you not inviting guests because it’s not inviting, it’s basically making you wanting to sell, probably for less of the actual market value because other buyers will probably see that as element who removes the value.
