@ownohmanny Hi Own, I'm Dad. I don't drink, can interact and play with my daughter just fine. That said, I do catch myself kind of auto-piloting now and again to how my own dad (doesn't drink) was with me, which was basically absolute bare minimum. Wasn't a bad dad at all, did everything he needed to but not a whole lot else. No great memories of bonding or interacting with my dad. Takes active effort to break that generational cycle. We are not a neurotypical family though so, YMMV I guess
